Homeschool Orchestra of South Texas

The Homeschool Orchestra of South Texas specializes in group music classes for ages 6-up, from beginner to advanced levels. Our Corpus Christi location is at New Life Church in Sunrise Mall. The HOST Instrument Petting Zoo (featured on the local news) will be on display at this convention. It is a free event that allows students ages 4-up to see and try out many different instruments. We have ensembles and classes for:

  • Strings (violin, cello, etc.)
  • Wind instruments (trumpet, clarinet, etc.)
  • Percussion (drums, xylophone, etc.)
  • Group Guitar
  • Choir
  • Piano

Here’s what our parents are saying about HOST:

“When we decided to take our kids out of public school, we felt the void of no group music availability. My three kids have been with HOST for 2 years and are about to start our third. One of the perks of HOST is being able to start group music learning at a younger age than a typical school. We’ve really enjoyed the teaching from Mrs. Nadine, Mr. Michael and Mr. Kenneth. It’s been a great experience all around and we share about HOST any chance we get.” – Donnetta B.

Homeschool Organization of South Texas (H.O.S.T.)

We are the largest homeschool support group in the Coastal Bend, with over 150 member families. We provide multiple educational and social opportunities for our members including:
